ISLAMABAD: The President of Balochistan National Party Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal has said on Wednesday, the federal government should take immediate steps to resolve missing person’s crisis that is the mother of all issues if Balochistan.

Meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Federal Minister for Human Rights Shereen Mazari in Islamabad,  Sardar Akhtar Mengal said he intended to meet Prime Minister and Army Chief over Balochistan’s Missing Persons’ issue.

“Balochistan National Party Mengal supported PTI in centre and given one year time to the prime Minister to resolve Missing persons issue, but after one years we would independent to set our direction.” Akhtar Mengal told the central leadership of PTI.

He added, Missing persons’ issue has become the most import issue of Balochistan calling safe recovery of Baloch missing persons would resolve the all problems of Balochistan,

“Today families of missing persons have been sitting on the roads in freezing temperature desperately asking for the whereabouts of their loved ones.” Akhtar Mengal said adding if they must be produced before the courts if they involved in criminal activities.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi assured the BNP President that Federal Government has been utilizing earnest efforts to resolve missing person’s crisis like we have been paying keen attention on all issues reeling in the country.

Federal Minister for Human Rights Shereen Mazari said, human rights department has been compiling data of all missing persons in the country indeed we would make sure to solve this issue.
