QUETTA: At least three Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan soldiers embraced martyrdom and four sustained injuries in a blast occurred in coal mining area of Margat some 60km far from the provincial capital on Sunday.

QUETTA: At least three Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan soldiers embraced martyrdom and four sustained injuries in a blast occurred in coal mining area of Margat some 60km far from the provincial capital on Sunday.

According to detail the personnel of paramilitary forces were providing security to the vehicle of ration being transporting to the forces deployed in the area when a road side IED went off through remote control, hitting it.

As a result, three F.C men were killed on the spot while four others received injuries. After the incident, more forces rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. The injured were
shifted to Combined Military Hospital.

The F.C officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity told that the terrorists planted IED in the road side of the area and when the ration vehicle was passing came under attack. He said that the forces were sent in search of the miscreants and will soon be tracked down, when contacted F.C spokesman told that all the injured are out of danger.

Meanwhile, the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed the responsibility of the incident and claimed five FC men killed. However, officials confirmed three deaths in the roadside blast.
