QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering PHE Noor Muhammad Dummar said, measure are being taken to bring reforms in WASA and digitalize the system adding provincial government won’t accept any negligence toward imparting water to the masses.

He shared these views while visiting Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) office on Monday urging consumers to pay their dues for the revive of WASA department.

Managing Director WASA Mujeeb ur Rehman Qumbrani has given comprehensive briefing to the Provincial Minister regarding his department’s performance and woes.

“The Provincial Government has vowed to utilize provincial resources for the relief of people of Balochistan and anyone won’t be allowed to waste public money.” Noor Muhammad Dummar added.

Announcing action against WASA’s defaulters Provincial Minister said, the department has given complete authority to launch crackdown against consumers not paying their dues adding water connection of commercial and residential consumers will be cut-off.

“I will chair monthly Progressive Review Meeting to assess the performance of WASA because we seek to resolve public basic issues particularly water supply on their door steps.”
