QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has said that system will not work unless the structure of governance works. “In those societies where governance fails system of government does not work,” he added.

Addressing students of different universities and colleges during a laptop distribution ceremony at Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Sunday, he said that Balochistan government was always criticized for its lack of capacity, bad governance and system. “Coalition government feels change in system is inevitable through better governance, in this regard the role of masses particularly of youth is quite significant,” he said.

Chief Minister regretted that owing to poor governance the fruits of billions of rupees projects could not deliver to the people because schemes were made for the benefit of few persons instead of masses. “We through improving and ensuring good governance will utilize public money upon their development and welfare,” he said.

Jam said that every country was confronting with enemies and enemies of Pakistan did not want her to develop but we through better strategy would frustrate their designs and plots. “Enemies want us to be disseminated the basis of ethnicity, religious and nationality but we through forging unity amongst our ranks will foil their all evil plans,” he said.

Chief Minister said that we were proud of our language, nationality and culture which was our recognization in the world, adding that those elements who wanted to create rifts amongst us under cover of language, nationality and misleading our youth should be discouraged.

Addressing students, Mr. Jam said you had great opportunity today, having all facilities which were never imaged in past so you should take full opportunity from these blessings and through better use of technology play your role for the construction of Balochistan and Pakistan. He said that the future of students was in their own hand they should not consider themselves inferior but utilizes their potential in education and work hard to achieve their goals. “We want to deliver to the people of Balochistan all those things and facilities in coming years which they deserve,” he added.

Chief Minister said that the wrong use of funds in past and incomplete developments project were causing us political and financial damages. If the incomplete Poly Technique institution in Lasbela district was completed more three thousands students would have graduated from their during last seven years.

He regretted that Quetta Greater Water scheme was initiated fifteen years back upon which billion’s rupees were wasted adding that if the only purpose of that project was providing water to the masses then today its machinery would have not closed and the people would have not seeking for drinking water.

Provincial Ministers Sardar Abdul Rehman Kehtran, Malik Naheem Bazai, MPAs Bushra Rind, Mubeen Khilji were also addressed on the occasion. Earlier, Chief Minister and provincial ministers distributed laptops amongst boys and girls students.
