CM Kamal stresses upon to expand BISP network in remote districts

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Thursday met with the Director General of Human Resource of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) calling the initiative helpful in eradicating poverty from Pakistan.


QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Thursday met with the Director General of Human Resource of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) calling the initiative helpful in eradicating poverty from Pakistan.

Lending briefing over the BISP networks and program in the country DG Human Resources Muhammad Khaliq Sadiq told CM Balochistan that Job and Educational program were included in national BISP while the government has been launching a health program under Benazir Income Support Program which would provide free medical assistance to poor people across the country.

He informed Jam Kamal that the BISP has been facing lack of human resource in Balochistan therefore government officers have been providing their assistance in the program on deputation periods.

Chief Minister Jam Kamal has assured the DG HR BISP that provincial government will impart the manpower in expanding the project pledging his government will provide all assistance.

“The Benazir Income Support Program must be expanded on Tehseel Level across Balochistan because poverty ration in remote parts of our province still on high level.” Jam Kamal said calling the initiative imperative to end poverty from Pakistan.
