QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Justice (Retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that Pakistan would become a great hub trade activities as a result of China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project.

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Justice (Retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that Pakistan would become a great hub trade activities as a result of China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project.

Addressing a ceremony held at a local hotel in Quetta tonight in connection with 69th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, he said that the it happened for the first time in the history of Balochistan province that our Chinese brethren are celebrating their National Day in Quetta which is a matter of great jubilation to all of us.

Referring to the advantages of CPEC project, Justice Retd Amanullah Khan said that the glorious future of Pakistan is linked with the completion of the project and Gwadar Deep Sea Port.

He further said that project would also enable the land lock Central Asian Republics to make access to Gwadar via CPEC.

The Governor also urged China to extend full cooperation in connection with imparting technical skill to the youth of the province so that they could easily shoulder higher responsibilities to be assigned to them in future.

The Governor also express the desire of opening Chinese Consulate in Quetta and Gwadar cities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing said that both Chinese and Pakistan governments are utmost desirous of further promoting their mutual ties bringing them to the climax.

He said that his country is all the time ready to extend its cooperation to the government of Balochistan in connection with improving the socio-economic conditions of the masses of province.

Jing expressed the determination t give priority to the local manpower in CPEC project.
