QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has said, development projects including infrastructure and roads would be included in next PSDP to boost provincial mining sector promising to address mining association’s problems on immediate basis.

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has said, development projects including infrastructure and roads would be included in next PSDP to boost provincial mining sector promising to address mining association’s problems on immediate basis.

He shared these views on Thursday while meeting a delegation of Mines Owner Association here in Chief Minister House.

“The Provincial Government has a clear vision to utilize provincial resource in development of Balochistan, which would be pushed us to create more jobs.” CM Balochistan Jam Kamal said.

Provincial Minister Naseebullah Mari, Arif Jan Muhammad Hasani, Malik Naeem Bazi, Secretary Mining and Secretary Environment were presented in the meeting.

The delegation informed Chief Minister regarding ban on brick kilns by Punjab Government that directly affecting coal industry in Balochistan.

Expressing their concern before Chief Minister, the delegation said, 1.5 million people in Balochistan were attached with Coal Mine industry and they could face woes due to Punjab ban on brick kilns.

Corroborating the stance of mining association Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan said, within the capacity the provincial government will address the issues of mining sector,

“Private investment in provincial mining field would be welcomed and provincial government would provide them full cooperation and infrastructure.” Jam Kamal added.

Chief Minister directed Secretary Environment and Secretary Mining to introduce Zig-Zag technology to control environmental pollution causing due to brick kilns.
