QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Friday said government and private educational intuitions were playing essential role for provision of education in the province.

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Friday said government and private educational intuitions were playing essential role for provision of education in the province.

He said education was basic way of development for every sector and it was key resources of growth of any society.

Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai expressed these views while speaking a ceremony of graduation 2018 which was organized by education department and UNICEF at local hotel, said press release here.

Governor said Islam says, every body including man and woman should get education and Islam gave a lot of status knowledge.

“Development of any nation connected with quality education while without education is not possible for advancement in rapidly era of science and technology”, he said.

He regretted that million of children including boys and girls in five to sixteen years were deprived from education in development period in our province.

Yasinzai said provincial government was taking measures to ensure provision of education to children at their doors in respective areas.

He mentioned steps were underway to ensure attendance of teachers and functionality of educational institutions in order to improve standard of knowledge in the area.

Governor said there is urgent need to be brought one syllabus in government and private schools for achieving positive result of education.

While addressing to the Seminar Provincial Minister and Members Provincial Assembly have said, the provincial government has imposed educational emergency in Balochistan that would yield positive result in future.

“Following Islamic principles, education is mandatory for all men and women, we must think about the children are out of schools.” Advisor to CM for education Muhammad Khan Lehri said.

MPA Sana Baloch, Naseer Shahwani, Bushra Rind, Mubeen Khilji and officials from education department have addressed the seminar conducted by UNICEF Balochistan on importance of education.

The Ministers and MPAs said, we have only 11000 Primary Schools in Balochistan for its 347000 square kilometer landscape while there is one school in the distance of 40km adding 70% children in Balochistan are deprived from education in 21st century.

“The Provincial Government in its first cabinet meeting imposed educational emergency in Balochistan which would yield positive result in future but there is more needs to be done in provincial education sector.” The ministers and MPAs added.

They said, with the support of International NGOs, there were 202 ALP centers have been working while 54 religious seminaries have been educating children under the ALP program funded by UNICEF,

Sharing their concern over dilapidated educational structure in least developed province they said, more than 11000 children are out of schools in Balochistan which is huge blow for the province’s future.

“The Provincial Government has allocated rupees 600 million for teachers’ training programs while 3.2 billion rupees were being spent on building new community Schools in Balochistan.” Advisor for Education Muhammad Khan Lehri added.
