QUETTTA: Following the directions of Balochistan High Court, NAB Balochistan has finalized plan to bar corruption in provincial development schemes under PSPD on Wednesday offering fully cooperation to the government to bar pressure and corruption from the schemes.

The reforms committee session of National Accountability Bureau presided by DG NAB Balochistan Mir Muhammad Irfan Baig was held in the NAB headquarter on Wednesday. Secretary P&D, officials from law department, communication and development departments attended the session.

DG NAB Balochistan Mirza Muhammad Irfan Baig has offered his department’s full cooperation for implementing the rules of Public Sector Development Fund (PSDP) and barring political pressure and corruption from development schemes.

“The incumbent governments on federal and provincial level are keen to purge out corruption from the country and no one would be allowed to steal the public money.” DG NAB said vowing with the support of all stakeholders NAB will turn Balochistan as corruption free province.

Talking on the provincial PSDP funds Mirza Muhammad Irfan Baig said, many development projects in the province have been facing violation of rules and scum which is causing delays in development schemes and effecting ordinary citizens.

The session has constituted various committees for various departments which would present their recommendations to make impartial development schemes under PSDP.
