Jashan-e-Ziarat Festival will be held next year: CM

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has announced on Friday that, though winter season has been started in Ziarat valley, the provincial government will celebrate Jashan e Ziarat in next June 2019 with more zeal and participation.


QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has announced on Friday that, though winter season has been started in Ziarat valley, the provincial government will celebrate Jashan e Ziarat in next June 2019 with more zeal and participation.

“The Provincial Government seeks to provide fresh sports and cultural activities to the people of Balochistan where our talented personalities could show their talent before the world.” Jam Kamal said while heading the session regarding Jashan e Ziarat Festival here in Quetta.

Provincial Ministers Noor Muhammad Dumar, Arif Jan Muhammad Hasani, MPA Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Secretary Culture, Commissioner Sibi and tribal elders from Ziarat participated in the session while DC Ziarat Abdul Qadir Pirkani briefed the session regarding the festival.

Jam Kamal said, due to off season in Ziarat Valley this year we couldn’t arranged Jashan e Ziarat Festival but next year the festival will be celebrated in June with more zeal and fervor.

“Ziarat is famous spot for tourism in Pakistan but due to lack of facilities still didn’t get much attention by tours from other parts of the country, Government of Balochistan is utilizing earnest efforts to provide healthy and tourism opportunities to the people of Balochistan.”

CM Balochistan announced the provincial government will celebrate festival like Jashan e Ziarat in all Districts of the province that would send a positive image of Balochistan in the world.
