QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Finance Mir Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani has said, strict monitoring over departmental affairs is the only solution to wipe out corrupt employees and mafia from all government departments.

Addressing a meeting called to review the affairs Provincial National Finance Commission (NFC) on Monday Provincial Finance Minister Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani said, corruption and inappropriate use of government funds have increased the deprivation and poverty in Balochistan vowing solid steps against corrupt mafia in Finance Department,

“Strict monitoring in all departmental affairs is the only solution to curb illicit activities and corrupt practices.” Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani said.

Former Secretary Finance Mehfooz Ali Khan has given intensive briefing over the provincial share in National Finance Commission and informed the participants regarding how to control future’s financial challenges.

Additional Secretary Development Akhter Sumalani, Additional Secretary Resource Abdul Razzaq and finance department’s officials were presented in the meeting.
