QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Sardar Muhammad Saleh Bhootani has said that a local bodies system would be introduced for devolution of powers at gross level to provide relief to the masses at their door steps.

QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Sardar Muhammad Saleh Bhootani has said that a local bodies system would be introduced for devolution of powers at gross level to provide relief to the masses at their door steps.

Speaking at a public gathering in the industrial town of Hub, on Sunday, he said that devolution of power up to lower level is vision of the present government and soon the new local bodies system would be introduced in the province.

Large number of people including councilors of Hub and Sakran and Chairman Municipal Committee Gadani Wadera Abdul Hameed were also present on the occasion.

Sardar Bhootani thanked the people of Lasbela for reposing confidence on him in the election and assured that he would make all possible efforts to resolve the problems being faced by the people of Hub, Sakran and other areas of the district Lasbela.

He said that Lasbela district is part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor route and we want to construct high caliber route which help in the development of the area and benefit the industrial town of Hub.

“We will ensure transparency in preparation of feasibility of the mega project and would not allow any ignorance in this regard,” Sardar Bhootani announced and said that work on Hub Bypass would be started after payment of compensation to the owners of land acquired by the government for the project.

He said that development package for the costal line of Gadani would be announced soon and all promises he made in his election campaign would be fulfill soon. He said that the process of the up gradation of schools would be started soon while every union.

The Minister for Local government said that restoring complete peace and order, providing health and education facilities and introducing police reforms is top priority of the Jam Kamal led coalition government.
