QUETTA: The President Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Jam Kamal Khan has said the purpose of launching a political party was to give much needed attention to Balochistan which centre failed to give so far.

He said that good governance has become comparatively challenging job in Balochistan than law and order and sincere leadership could only steer the province out of myriad crises.

Downplaying allegations of ‘establishment’ hands in formation and election victory of his party, he said, “Our opponents have been making hue and cry over their defeat, alleging us as favorite of establishment.”

“Though Balochistan Awami Party has emerged prior to general elections yet we had been working on BAP’s structure for more than one and half year and a glimpse of our party was seen during Senate Elections,” Jam Kamal Aliyani said while talking to a news agency in Quetta on Monday.

He remarked that Balochistan Awami Party was made take future decision for Balohcistan within the province and the ideology of BAP is a prosperous Balochistan.

“BAP’s 15 candidates emerged victorious in general elections and 4 independent candidates joined our Party, those parties alleging rigging and terming our party as sacred cow should understand that some of our strong candidates faced defeat,” he held.

Sharing his party’s position in forming next government, President BAP Jam Kamal said that we have gained support of majority of MPAs and liaison with other parties is underway. “The next coalition of government will be announced in next couple of days,” he concluded.
