CHAGAI: PPP central leader Mir Umair Muhammad Hasni has termed Pak Iran Trade Gate Zero Point’s prolonged closure as economic exploitation and demanded immediate reopening of it.

This was stated by him in press release adding that prolonged closure of Zero Point by Iranian authorities was illogical and regrettable which is the violation of mutual border agreement too. He asked if government and district administration was doing something in this regard and lamented on government’s incompetency over the issue which left hundreds of laborers and middle class businessman jobless.

He said despite mutual border agreement Iranian authorities closed Zero Point without any intimation which resulted in shortage of routine commodities. He made it clear that their party won’t let alone the poor suffering people of Chagai and border related areas therefore the government should take up this issue on mutual border meetings and diplomatic level otherwise his party would utilize every democratic right to stage protest against Zero Point’s prolonged closure and government’s incompetency.
