QUETTA: The Higher Education Commission has imposed ban on M.Phil. and Ph.D. in thirteen country wide universities including University of Balochistan Quetta here on Monday.

According to the officials of HEC, in the light of committee`s suggestions the action has been taken against those universities which are failed to fulfill the required terms for “Abstract Educational Program” in their institutions, because of the ban at-least four thousand students will be effected and these students can take admission in other universities without bearing their educational loss under the HEC instruction.
