QUETTA: Nimaz-e-Janaza of BC personnel killed in Tuesday’s suicide attack was offered in Police line on Wednesday while investigation of attack carried-out by TTP underway.

QUETTA: Nimaz-e-Janaza of BC personnel killed in Tuesday’s suicide attack was offered in Police line on Wednesday while investigation of attack carried-out by TTP underway.

Inspector General (IG) Police Balochistan Muzzam Jah Ansari and other senior Police officials had attended the Nimaz-e-Janaza of slain Balochistan Constabulary Personnel in Police Line Quetta.

Later the bodies had been departed for burial and the body of student killed in GPO Chowk suicide attack was shifted to his native city Zhob.

The First Information Report (FIR) of the suicidal attack on BC truck was lodge in Civil Line Police Station on behalf of a constable. A special investigation team has been constituted on Wednesday to probe to attack. The SSP investigation will head the team.

At least 07 people including four Security Forces Personnel were killed and 16 sustained injures after a suicidal struck on Balochistan Constabulary truck at GPO Chowk on Tuesday evening.

The BC personnel were standing down after performing their full day duty during Balochistan Assembly’s No-Trust Session when the attack occurred.

Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility of the attack and termed the attack to revenge against staged encounters of their group members by Law Enforcement Agencies.

The blast site remained cordoned-off for the 2nd day as Investigation of the suicide attack still underway, investigators still grabbing clues from the crime scene.

Inspector General of Police Moazam Jah Ansari completely refuted the speculation that suicidal wanted to approach near Assembly building.

“The blast took place after nearly an hour of the Assembly proceedings, and Police have a key role in eradicating terrorism from Balochistan that forcing terrorists to act cowardly.” IG Police on Tuesday while visiting blast spot.
