QUETTA: The Chairman NAB Justice retired Javed Iqbal announced on Monday to challenge the provincial government decision of declaring Khalid Langove’s residence as sub-jail.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan has prepared an application to challenge Provincial Government decision of declaring Mir Khalid Langove Ex- Finance Minister’s residence as sub jail.

Mir Khalid Langove was detained by NAB in connection of Balochistan Mega Corruption case last years after which he was admitted in Civil Hospital’s jail ward due to his request on medical basis.

Following directions by Chairman NAB Justice retired Javed Iqbal the department has prepared a constitutional application to challenge provincial government decision,

“Mir Khalid Langove is among the prime suspect of mega corruption case and the provincial government’s decision of declaring his residence as sub-jail causing hurdles in NAB’s investigations.” NAB sources said.

The constitutional application against Provincial Home Department would be submitted in the Balochistan High Court in next few days.

The application will urge the honorable court to end perks and privileges provided to ex-finance minister by declaring his residence as sub-jail.
