QUETTA: Despite provincial government’s claims and actions against farmers cultivating vegetables with filthy sewage water continued in Quetta with full impunity causing fatal diseases including cancer among the citizens of Quetta.

The illicit business of cultivation of vegetables with swage water in Provincial Capital’s Spini road, Mano Jan road, Lehri Gait, Qumbrani road Kharottabad and other areas continued with full impunity despite government crackdown against the mafia playing with human lives.

With Irony the Balochistan Assembly had passed a resolution of preventing cultivation of vegetable with sewage water and the Qudus Binzejo’s government launched action against the farmers involved in hazardous business.

The illicit business continued in Quetta where vegetables are being cultivated on up to 1500 acers land with the filthy water of sewage causing numerous disease including cancer in the heart of Balochistan.

The Health Experts blames the vegetables cultivated with filthy water for burgeoning cases of Malaria, Typhoid and Cancers among the citizens of Quetta demanding provincial government to wipe out the hazardous business.
