QUETTA: A complete shutter down strike was observed in Qilla Saifullah on Monday against the target killing of Levies Risaldar Muhammad Afzal.

Business activities across the city remained shut while traffic was thin in Qilla Saifullah against the killing of Levies Man Muhammad Afzal who was shot dead by unknown armed persons on Sunday evening at Jankshan Chowk area.

The trade unions in Qilla Saifullah called for strike against murder of Levies Risaldar while the Akhtarzai tribe staged a protest demonstration against the killing on Sunday demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators.

The funeral of Muhammad Afzal took place in Qilla Saifullah on Monday where a large number of citizens and tribal elders participated. The Levis force paid guard of honor to the slain Levis man however his body had been buried with sobs and sorrow.
