QUETTA: The Parliamentary leader of Balochistan National Party Mengal Sana Baloch has said, the opposition parties are intended to support provincial government for change in Balochistan stressing upon better planning to develop the province.

He shared these views on Thursday while addressing two day workshop conducted by UNDP and Planning and Development (P&D) Department to discuss the development goals and future’s planning here in Quetta.

Lauding the workshop discussing Balochistan’s development goals, Sana Baloch said, such events are imperative for the future’s development of Balochistan where all stakeholders including representatives of International Organizations can share their views to set future’s development goals,

“Agenda 2030 and 17 SDGs Programs have given Balochistan an opportunity to meet financial challenges with the cooperation of International organizations.” Expressing optimism that the UNDP will assist the provincial government for solid planning on development projects.

Sana Baloch added, the Balochistan National Party Mengal is ready to support provincial government for bringing change in Balochistan and we will continue assisting provincial government.

Additional Chief Secretary for Planning and Development Muhammad Ali Kakar, Representatives of UNDP Zulfiqar Durrani, Shakeel Ahmed and Government officials were presented in the workshop.

The UNDP’s representative Peter Vandepol has said, through better planning the provincial resources can be used in an appropriate way to meet the future’s financial challenges.
