QUETTA: Chairing a high-level law and order session on Wednesday Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has urged people of Balochistan to promote interfaith harmony and brotherhood during Muharram stressing upon pubic to cooperate with security forces.

CM Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has presided a law and order session here in the provincial capital to review the security measure ahead of Ashoura Processions in Balochistan and Levis Force’s target killing in Qilla Saifullah.

The Security officials have briefed the session regarding tightened security measure being adopted following Ashoura Processions across the province.

“A large number of forces comprising Police, FC, Levis and Balochistan Constabulary will be deployed during Ashoura Procession while three battalions of Pak Army will be on standby to handle any untoward situation.” The session was told.

The Provincial Government has commenced installing new CCTV Cameras across the city to monitor the Procession in Quetta while arrangement for air surveillance has been made.

The Session’s members strongly condemned the recent blast on AC Barshor and series of target killings of Levis personnel in Qilla Saifullah.

The Security officials told the session that investigations underway over the recent terror attacks in Pishin and Qilla Saifullah.

Showing satisfaction over law and order situation CM Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has stressed upon religious scholars to play their role in fostering interfaith harmony in Balochistan urging people of Balochistan to cooperate with Security Forces during Ashoura Processions.
