QUETTA: The death toll of Qilla Saifuallah firing attack has reached to three as an injured Levies soldier Khairullah martyred on Thursday during medical treatment.

On Tuesday unidentified armed men opened firing on Levis Check Post in Qilla Saifullah killing two Levis soldiers Muhammad Akram and Muhammad Munir injuring Khairullah.

On Wednesday Khairullah succumbed to his injuries in Qilla Saifullah District Hospital due to his critical wounds pushing the number to three in the second attack on Levis since Sunday.

Residents of Qilla Saifullah have been protesting against the surge in attacks against Levis soldiers in Pak-Afghan bordering city Qilla Saifullah. On Sunday armed men gunned down Levis Rasaldar Muhammad Afazal.

The Khairullah body was handed over to the heirs who later buried in his native graveyard in Qilla Saifullah.

Meanwhile a Chaman-Karachi bound passenger coach overturned in Kalat leaving two passengers dead and 11 injured.

Levis force said, the Chaman-Karachi bound passenger coach toppled down near Khaliqabad due to over speeding, “Two passengers have died on the spot while 11 sustained injuries.”

Rescue workers and Levis force rushed the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to Khaliqabad Hospital for medical treatment.
