CHAGAI: Police force recovered 38 kg of high quality hashish and arrested a drug smuggler during a raid in Faisal Colony area of Dalbandin on Thursday.

Superintendent of Chagai Police Dostain Dashti, while briefing local media, said the raid was conducted on a tip off which resulted in apprehension of drug smuggler Abdul Quddus who would be interrogated further.

He said Police force has launched a campaign against drug peddlers in Chagai following which several hideouts of drug smugglers demolished in Dalbandin earlier. He vowed to cut the root causes of drug smuggling in Chagai district and urged the masses to cooperate with Police in this regard.
