QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has said, the opposition will be take in confidence while taking all provincial decisions because we respects oppositions’ stance and their suggestion will be included in provincial government’s affairs.

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has said, the opposition will be take in confidence while taking all provincial decisions because we respects oppositions’ stance and their suggestion will be included in provincial government’s affairs.

“The Provincial Government seeks to set a precedent where government and opposition can walk together and the coalition government pursue any positive guideline shared by opposition parties for the development of Balochistan.” Jam Kamal said while meeting a delegation of opposition parties here in CM House on Monday.

The opposition delegation comprising on Malik Sikandar Advocate, Nasrullah Zeeray assured the provincial government that the opposition will support government’s initiatives favouring the interest of people of Balochistan.

Expressing their concern over previous regimes’ agreements on PPL and Saindak Projects the opposition members stressed upon over review on these projects including provincial Public Sector Development Fund PSDP.

The meeting unanimously decided to commence liaison with Federal Government over exploitation of provincial rights on CPEC related projects including the changing western route and building economic zones in Balochistan.

“The provincial government will take on board all opposition parties while taking any decision because we want to walk with opposition in all government affairs.” CM Balochistan said adding in the light of opposition’s stance the provincial government will form an effective land policy to ensure the protection of land owned by various tribes.

Talking on his government’s performance Jam Kamal said, we have completed 20 days in government but the experience revealed that due to flawed government affairs the province today stuck in myriad of problems,

“The development projects were bounded in some areas but the rest of the provinces were ignored, sincere steps by our predecessors might have developed the 70% Balochistan.” CM Balochistan said reiterating the neglected areas would be developed on priority level to balance development equality in Balochistan.

Assuring the opposition members over government steps towards PSDP Jam Kamal said, following the order of Balochistan High Court Provincial PSDP is being overviewed but the issue can be discussed in provincial assembly suggesting the CM Inspection team can be tasked to inspect the development schemes.

The opposition members informed the Chief Minister regarding issues in their respective constituencies and urged the provincial government to take serious their issues.

Provincial Minister Asghar Khan Achakzai, Sardar Saleh Bhotani, Sardar Abdul Rehmant Kethran and government officials were presented in the meeting.

CM Balochistan assured the opposition members the provincial government will address the issues of opposition members as all parties in the Assembly would be equally treated,

“Today our province has been facing numerous challenges including financial crisis therefore all stakeholders must get united to thwart future’s woes and developed the province.”
