QUETTA: The spat of building new private Hospitals in the Provincial Capital Quetta causing worse traffic issues as people are compelled to pass the destiny of 15 minutes in hours due to traffic rush.

Quetta’s Zarghoon road and Patel Road has turn into the markets of Private Hospital as with each passing new private hospitals being built which has become a lucrative business for Doctors.

Due to lack of healthcare facilities in Government Hospitals, citizens are compelled to take their patients in Private Hospitals by paying heavy fees because doctors are yearn to check patients in Private Hospital instead of Government Hospitals.

Due to flawed policies of provincial government and lack planning, license are being issued to build new Private Hospital in downtown of the city as many private hospital were found violating building code act.

The burgeoning Private Hospitals have worsen already dilapidate traffic system in Quetta. Hundreds of vehicle are being stranded in Quetta’s Zarghoon Road, Patel Road and Art School Road due to patient’s rush in Private Hospitals.

“The Provincial Government must set a better planning to resolve the traffic problem in Quetta, despite congested roads, construction of new private hospitals is underway which would destroyed the traffic flow.” Muhammad Haseeb Akbar a student said.

“Students and government employees are unable to reach on their destiny on time, because due to rush in Private Hospitals we often stuck in traffic.” He added.

Despite Commissioner Quetta’s direction over action against illegal parking, yet the traffic problems are same and increasing private hospitals and food points disturbing already dilapidated traffic system.

Ambulances were seen stuck in traffic due to illegal parking at food points at Samungli Road and under Shuhda e Zehri flyover.

The Citizens of Quetta have been demanding immediate steps to prevent building more private hospitals in the city saying the new provincial government led by Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani should act upon the issue to resolve the traffic woes.
