QUETTA: The hunger strike and protest of the medical students (medicine department) entered its third consecutive day here on Thursday against what they called irregularities in the Bolan Medical College (BMC).

QUETTA: The hunger strike and protest of the medical students (medicine department) entered its third consecutive day here on Thursday against what they called irregularities in the Bolan Medical College (BMC).

The Protesting doctors alleged that the BMC administration had deliberately failed 18 students in medicine department in a recent result on the basis of favoritism.

Addressing to a news conference in Quetta Press Club, the student leaders Dr. Haroon Akhtar, Dr. Shoib and Dr Nasreen said that they had been observing hunger strike since last three days against irregularities in the result of Medicine Department of Bolan Medical College announced recently.

“The college administration failed 18 students in via voce only to waste their whole year deliberately,” they alleged.

Demanding Justice from the Government they said that the Balochistan High Court and Provincial Government should intervene in the matter and re-conduct their exams to enable them to continue their studies.
