QUETTA: Interim Home Minister Agha Umar bangulzai has said on Wednesday that, Punjab Forensic Laboratory’s team had visited Dringarh and they collected evidence from the blast spot, foreign intelligence agencies stoking violence in Pakistan to disturb electoral process.

“Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, Police, Levis and Law Enforcement Agencies have been utilizing their utmost efforts to halt enemies’ vicious attempts to sabotage elections in Pakistan, Caretaker Government and all institution are united on one page to lead the country towards free and fair election process.” Interim Home Agha Umar Bangulzai said on Wednesday while addressing a news conference.

Interim Information Minister Khurram Shahzad, DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema, Sector Commander FC Brigadier Tasawurm, SSP Operation and other officials were accompanied with Interim Home Minister.

Sharing his grieve on Mastung carnage Agha Umar Bangulzai said, the tragic incident of Mastung has mourned the nations, miscreants have been attempting to disturb electoral process in the country but their vicious ambitions would be halted at every cost,

“Punjab Forensic Laboratory’s team had visited Mastung where suicide on political rally occurred, they collected all evidence from the spot which would lead the investigators towards the perpetrators and I want to assure people of Balochistan that they won’t spare for killing 150 innocent people.” Interim Home Minister said.

Talking on the RAW and NDS involvement in stoking violence in Balochistan Agha Umar Bangulzai said, the foreign Intelligence Agencies have been funding terrorists and providing them safe heavens to disturb elections in the country,

“Our Law Enforcement Agencies have been doing their earnest efforts to halt terror activities in the country particularly in Balochistan, our brave soldiers have been sacrificing their lives to protect the masses.”

Sharing the details of IBOs conducted by LEAs in Balochistan Agha Umar said, a large cache of arms and explosive had been confiscated from Zhob, Dera Bugti, Quetta and Sangsela during Intelligence Based Operations while two terrorists have been nabbed planning further attacks on election campaigns.

Replying to query Interim Home Minister said, during Caretaker Prime Minister Justice retired Nasir ul Mulk, he stressed upon all political parties to follow ECP’s code of conduct,

“We can foil terrorists’ attempts by timely informing Security Forces, Police and District Administrations, so we could protect the election activities in the province.”

Agha Umar Bangulzai said, total 1750 polling station have been declared sensitive in the province where Pak Army, FC and Levis’ personnel will deployed to protect the voting process,

“Following ECP’s direction, we have been utilizing efforts to make sure installation of CCTV Cameras in sensitive polling stations.”

DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema said, the Police and LEAs have booked 125 notorious accused during separate operations in Balochistan, “We have established a Threat Cell in CCPO Office which have been assessing all threat alerts and informing concern departments regarding security measures.”
