QUETTA: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday halted transfer orders of Returning Officer Asad Achakzai who rejected former Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti’s nominate papers over not filing his assets details.

Judicial Magistrate Assadullah Achakzai who had been given power of Returning Officer had rejected former Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti’s nominate paper for PB 10 Dera Bugti what he claimed Mr. Bugti didn’t mention his assets details.

Hours later Sarfarz Bugti’s nomination papers were accepted by the ECP and he alleged his dissidents spreading false information to decrease his popularity in his native town Dera Bugti.

On Thursday Balochistan High Court had released transfer order of Mr. Assadullah Achakzai RO Dera Bugti to Gandawa Jhal Magsi but later by using its power Election Commission of Pakistan halted his transfer orders and directed him to continue his duty as RO in Dera Bugti.

On June 13 Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti in a news conference alleged Sarfaraz Bugti that he pressurized Returning Officer who accepted his nomination papers.
