Unknown people blew up the house of Balochistan Minister and central leader of Balochistan National Party (BNP-Awami) Mir Asghar Rind, while a leader of BNP-Mengal survived an armed attack in Turbat district.

Unknown people blew up the house of Balochistan Minister and central leader of Balochistan National Party (BNP-Awami) Mir Asghar Rind, while a leader of BNP-Mengal survived an armed attack in Turbat district.

Official sources said that unknown people planted explosive around the house of Mir Asghar Rind in Gomazi area of Mand late evening and blew it up. “The house was completely destroyed in the blast,” levies officials said, adding that no casualty has reported in the blast as no one was present in the house when blast occurred. The house of the brother of Mr.

Rind has damaged partially in the blast that was located in the same area.

Meanwhile, a leader and candidate of Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) Mir Hamal Baloch escaped an armed attack when traveling between Sirkin and Mirabad area of Turbat.

Unknown armed men opened fire on his convoy from nearby mountainous. However, security guards of Mir Hamal Baloch returned fire. After heavy exchange of fire, the attackers fled away from the scene.

No casualty has reported. Mir Hamal is candidate of BNP-Mengal from PB-47-Turbat. On the other hand, Political Parties busy in Election Campaign, In previous years Sardar Ataullah Mengal and his son BNP Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal house also came under attack while they had no enmity and dispute with any individual. They are national leaders and leading the most popular political party in Balochistan.

BNP’s leadership received by tens of thousands of people in all the four climatic regions of Balochistan and people attended its public meetings en masse to the disappointment of his opponents. It is the barometer for party’s popularity among the people of Balochistan. Thus any dispute, conflict and quarrel with any individual or group of individuals is completely ruled out. It seems to be a clear case of terrorism.

Some elements in our society want to terrorize Political parties for obvious reasons. With these kinds of incidents, it is being predicted that some elements want to harass local Political Leader’s. It is the duty of the Government and the security agencies to protect the life and each and every citizen of this country, including political leaders or political opponents of the Government.

It is hoped that the security agencies would work hard to unearth the real culprits who planted the bomb and at the same time restore full confidence of the people on all law enforcing agencies of the State of Pakistan.
