QUETTA: Three more people, including woman died after drinking contaminated water in District Awaran’s Tranch village. Two men have earlier lost their levies and dozens other affected of water-borne diseases were referred to nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment to overcome mortality rate.

QUETTA: Three more people, including woman died after drinking contaminated water in District Awaran’s Tranch village. Two men have earlier lost their levies and dozens other affected of water-borne diseases were referred to nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment to overcome mortality rate.

A visible surge has been witnessed in mortality rate due to the absence of satisfactory assistance from government side. So far, water-borne disease Gastro has claimed five lives including woman and more than sixty people said to be affected of it.

According to Dr Ameer Bux, the Medical Supretendant of Awaran hospital, the medical treatment of more than 38 people has been initiated by various teams came in area.

Mir Akram Baloch, the member of Pak Ser Zameen Party said, “we are not satisfied of the steps taken by government.”

They said, large claims are being made that handsome amount of funds are being utilized on the development of Awaran. While the reality shows apposite, so far five people have lost their lives and more than sixty people have affected of drinking contaminated water. He said, the Jawans of Pak army have reached in area they two have started their medical treatment in the area.
