QUETTA: The adjourn motion tabled by Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti against four PKMAP MPAs setting a condition for them to apologize with Shahida Rauf or their Assembly membership will be suspended.

The Balochistan Assembly Session chaired by Speaker Raheela Hamid Durrani commenced with two hours delay on Friday evening. Members discussed PKMAP members’ uproar on Thursday session and condemned abusive language used against Panel of the Chairman Shahida Rauf.

Syed Agha Liaquat, Sardar Mustafa Tareen, Babar Lala and Nasrullah Zeeray had used abusive language and passed bigotry comments against Shahida Rauf during budget debate session on Thursday.

Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti on Friday tabled an adjourn resolution against four members and urged the speaker to preclude them for apology or suspend their Assembly membership.

“All members have strongly condemned the behavior of PKMAP members, we present resolution to resume their membership from 20^th May, if they apologize on the floor.” Sarfaraz Bugti said while tabling the move.

He added, a politician must be flexible, and I am sure apology won’t bring shame from them but will make their personality more colossal.

Sharing his views on Yesterday Assembly’s uproar by opposition Chief Minister Qudus Bizenjo said, the four opposition members have crossed all limits during yesterday’s proceeding, our Assembly has rich customs and tribal precedents which must be followed at any cost,

“Opposition has rights to protest, even we did as for a year we didn’t receive a single penny from the than collation regime, but those four members have brought shame for all of us.”

Opposition leader and Parliamentary leader of PKMAP in Assembly Abdul Raheem Ziartwal has apologized on behalf of opposition bench and urged the house to resume their membership so they can participated in budget debates.

CM Balochistan applauded opposition leader’s remarks and apology but emphasized that four of the members should be suspended for next two budget session.

Sardar Aslam Bizenjo from the National party side also strictly condemned the misbehaving attitude of PKMAP members and said, women in our tribal society are more respectable than any other society, “Before being Panel of Chairman, Mrs. Shahida Rauf is a woman and she should be respected.”

Giving her remarks Speaker Balochistan Assembly Raheela Hamid Durrani lamented on Yesterday’s and said, I have been running provincial Assembly affairs from more than two years, being a woman I have always treated with respect by honorable members,

“Thursday’s event must be condemned by all members because a woman penal of the chairman was treated very badly even she was being called with abusive language.”

The session unanimously stressed upon four members to apologize with Shahid Rauf or their membership will be suspended.

Debating on Provincial Budget 2018-19 opposition leader Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal said, the opposition has completely rejected the annual budget and termed it as cumbersome exploiting masses’ interest.

“The Provincial Government has violated legal terms in finalizing the budget as included Non-Development Project into Development side.”

After hearing the budget debates the Speaker Assembly adjourned session till Saturday 03pm.
