QUETTA: The injured Assistant Patrolling Officer Motorway who attempted to intercept the explosive laden vehicle succumbed to injuries on Friday, thus Police officers martyred in Thursday attack on FC help center.

Muhammad Idrees who attempted to prevent the suicidal carrying explosive in his vehicle, but after spotting Motorway Police then, he blew his explosive laden vehicle leaving eight injured including Idress on Thursday attack on FC Help Centre.

The Assistant Patrolling Officer Motorway Police Muhammad Idrees was succumbed to injuries on Friday. He bravely attempted to intercept the suicidal vehicle and sacrificed his lives in protecting people of Quetta.

Idress’ body had been handed over to his heirs for burial on Friday and he left a widow and two small daughters.

Following the brazen attack on FCs’ compound, security remained on high alert on Friday more than 5000 police personnel had been deputed on various points to prevent any further attacks.

Mosques and Imam Bargah across the city are being heavily guarded by Security personnel while security measures have been beefed up in sensitive place and installations.

Five suicide bomber have attacked FC’s Help Centre on Thursday night, but forces timely action engaged and killed all attackers before entering the compound.

DIG Abdul Razaq Cheema said, to investigate the attack Punjab Forensic Team is reaching Quetta and the site remained under security control for investigation.
