QUETTA: Unknown armed men gunned down a female school teacher in Balngur area of Kech district, police said Sunday.
Official sources said that the tragic incident took place late on Saturday night in Shay Seechi village of Balngur area. Unknown armed men riding motorcycles barged into the house of school teacher and opened fire with automatic weapons.
As result of firing the female teacher who was identified as Bilqees Anwar died on the spot.
Levies rushed to the site soon after receiving information about the incident along with Naib Tehsildar Balngur Abdul Rehman Baloch and shifted the body to district hospital Turbat.
“She received seven bullets on different parts of her body causing his instant death,” Abdul Rehman Baloch said, adding that the cause of killing was not known so far. She was known as Bilqees Baji and was JV teacher in the government girls Balngur.
Sources said that armed men come from the mountainous area of Shay Seechi and after reaching they barged into the house of female teacher. Armed men after firing escaped towards the mountainous area on their motorbikes.
Security forces has cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace out the attackers. No one has claimed responsibility of the killing of female teacher.
