“In a short period of tenure we have utilized our earnest effort in functionalizing government machinery to provide relief to the people of Baloshitan, though poverty has reached on alarming level but the federal government has yet show gumption towards our issues.” Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said while meeting with All Pakistan Newspaper Society on Saturday.

A delegation of APNS headed by Secretary General Sarmad Ali met with Chief Minister Balochistan here in Quetta.

Slamming central government over neglecting Balochistan Quddus Bizenjo said, the PML-N led federal government had made tall claims regarding Balochistan’s development but yet the heart of CPEC is deprived of clean drinking water and depicting a dilapidated picture,

“Federal Government pledge of baring 50% expense of resolving Gwadar’s water crisis, but they failed to fill meet their promise and provincial government within its limited resources commenced of installing desalination plant in Gwadar to end clean drinking water crisis there.

Sharing the provincial government woes in finalizing provincial annual budget which had presented on May 14, Qudus Bizenjo said, we have presented provincial annual budget with 61 billion rupees deficit, despite immense financial crisis in Balochistan the Federal Government deliberately spent small province due share in central Punjab’s development.

Talking on PML N Government’s lavish allocation of fund in Punjab CM Balochistan said, unfortunately an ordinary Baloch hold responsible the whole Punjab over stealing his rights, but not the people of Punjab but a political involved in crushing Balochistan’s due rights,

“We have always faced cut in our Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) by central government, but our former Chief Ministers are responsible too in remaining foiled to direct ask for our due rights, and haven’t rise voice for due rights of the people of Balochistan.”

Sharing his views on Balochistan’s representation in National Assembly Quddus Bizenjo said, we could only be able to clinch our rights from federal government when we would get a large representation in National Assembly, “We have raise the issue in Provincial Assembly and discussion on more seats for Balochistan are underway, it will end sense of deprivation in Balochistan and would appease differences among provinces.”

Urging media to become voice of Balochistan Qudus Bizenjo said, media has a vital rule in the country, our media industry whether print or electronic should unite with people the people of Balochistan and raise our voice.
