QUETTA: A Chinese delegation headed by the Chinese ambassador of Pakistan, Yao jeang, while visiting the Balochistan university met with the vice chancellor of Balochistan university.

At the occasion the deans of various faculties, registrar, senior teachers and other faculty members were also present.

The delegation was briefed about the initiated researches and future programs. They were said that the university has been affiliated with both national and international universities of the world. Future programs are being arranged with the universities of China. So that through the collaboration of each other higher education could be promoted.

The Chinese ambassador while praising the educational services of Balcohistan University said, both China-Pakistan have strong friendly relations and work on various projects are being undertaken through the collaboration of both countries. The China-Pakistan Economic corridor (CPEC) is particularly significant for entire region. Balochistan would serve as a gateway and connect all the countries come under its ambit. The era of development has started and soon its benefits would unveil.

He said, scholarships would be provided to the teachers in various universities of China.

The vice chancellor has welcomed the guests and said Pak- China friendship is exemplary. CPEC is a significant project and would change the destiny of the province and country.

While at the time of departure of Chinese delegation, shields were transferred on both sides and delegation has inspect the various departments of university and met with the students.
