QUETTA: By committing border violation with complete impunity, the Iranian border guards on Monday fired two mortar shells on Pakistan’s bordering side causing no loss of life.

QUETTA: By committing border violation with complete impunity, the Iranian border guards on Monday fired two mortar shells on Pakistan’s bordering side causing no loss of life.

According to details, on early hours of Monday, the Iranian border forces fired two mortar shells on Pakistan’ bordering village Rajaay and Gawalshap near Nokandi.

The mortar shells land in an open fray causing no loss of life or property damage in the villages.

“The Iranian border guards again committed border violation by firing shells on Pakistani villages, fortunately no casualty was reported but the attack caused fear among people the villagers.” Assistant Commissioner Haji Zafar Jan Kibdani told media.

Pakistan has recorded its protest against border violation by Iranian border forces multiple-times, but the Iranian forces remained involved in firing mortar on Pakistani villages with complete impunity.

“We have informed the Iranian officials regarding over concern over border violation by Iranian border guards and written a letter to record our protest.” AC Haji Zafar added.

Last week Iranian border forces killed two Pakistanis and arrested five for illegally crossing the Pak-Iran border near Gwadar.
