QUETTA: IG FC Major General Nadeem Anjum said the people of Balochistan had been making all their attempts for their country’s peace, prosperity, and development.
On the occasion of 23rd March, he remarked at Sardar Bahadur Khan (SBK) Women University that FC Balochistan is immensely proud of these services of the people of Balochistan.
“In Pakistan’s stability, Balochistan’s people have tendered sacrifices,” he further remarked, “during the Pakistan movement, political and tribal elders of Balochistan gave hand to Pakistan founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah. As a result, Pakistan came into being on August 14, 1947.”
He said they were grateful to Almighty Allah for being an independent nation, as well taking breath in free air. “Our dream is turning into reality, because we are today independent and on the path of development,” he added.
He also said Pakistan, by the grace of God, is geographically also important, so much it has all kind of weathers.
As for Balochistan, he said, the people of province do have lots of potentials and talents. But they only need to be given the opportunities and chances to show their talent to the world.
“Pakistan’s future is linked to the youth, which is why I say our future is safe. For instance, I have come to SKB Women University, and I am in a state of bliss to see the youth of our nation,” he said. “As for Balochistan, people are peace-loving and patriot, too.”
“Having seen our talented youth today at SBK, I can say with aplomb none can defeat us,” he concluded.
