People celebrate Pakistan Day with zeal, fervour across Balochistan

QUETTA: Pakistan Day celebrations were held across Balochistan on Friday with full zeal where Frontier Corps (FC) and provincial government conducted ceremonies to show their patriotism with the country.

QUETTA: Pakistan Day celebrations were held across Balochistan on Friday with full zeal where Frontier Corps (FC) and provincial government conducted ceremonies to show their patriotism with the country.

Several procession were taken out across Balochistan with full zeal and fervour by Provincial Government, FC Balochistan, Political and religious parties, Civil Society and Student organizations in the provincial capital and other cities of the province.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Qudus Bizinjo in a video message congratulated people of Pakistan a very happy Pakistan Day, “We all have to get united against our common enemies and play our role to evolve Pakistan.”

People majority youth were seen hitting the roads and carrying Pakistan Flags and dancing on the roads to mark the Pakistan Celebrations.

A ceremony to mark Pakistan Day celebration was held in Frontier Corps Ghazaband Scouts where children performed on national songs.

“Following the foot-steps of our founding father Qauid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and our elders participated in Pakistan’s movement, we can lead the country towards prosperity.” Commandant Ghazaband Colonel Rab Nawaz addressed the ceremony

He added, today Pakistan has grappled in the scourge of terrorism, but our brave forces with the support of our masses near to purge terrorism from Pakistan.

A rally called Long Live Pakistan (Pakistan Zindabad Rally) was held in Kuchlak city where a large number citizens marched on various street with full throat patriotic slogans,

“Being a Pakistan 23rd March remembers us the sacrifices our forefathers given for this country, we have to mark this important day with full courage to show the world that we love our country and wouldn’t refrain to sacrifices our live to protect our sacred soil.” Shah Muhammad Nasir organizer of Pakistan Day rally said.

Jamat ul Dawa, Nawabzada Siraj Raisani and other parties have conducted Pakistan rallies in Quetta. Jamat ul Dawa conducted a procession at Manan Chowk where a tribute was given to the people tabled Pakistan resolution in 1940.

Following the celebrations across the country, Pakistan Day rallies and celebrations were held in Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Dalbandin, Chaghi, Gawadar, Turbat, Awaraan, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Zhob, Ziarat and other towns of Balochistan.

A Flag measuring approximately 300 x200 feet and located 5577 fett above sea level was raised on Thursday in Jandarn Ridge area of District Kholu following Pakistan Day celebrations.
