Nushki : Zind Academy on Sunday hosted a memorial reference for renowned thinker, journalist and editor lala Siddiq Baloch.

The event was organized in district hall under the chairmanship of shahzada zulfiqar Baloch. President of Balochistan union of journalist Khalil Ahmed, Irfan Saeed attended the ceremony as the chief guest.

The memorial service made extensive tribute to the journalistic contribution of lala Siddiq Balochistan. “lala Siddiq devoted hi life serving the people of Balochistan, “ the reference said, remarking that his contribution greatly province and were a main source of highlighting the problems faced by Baloch people. The speaker also highlighted the commendable commitment of the late journalist in voicing the issue of Balochistan at every possible platform.

Speakers at the reference included zind Academy founder Yar Jan Badini, Shahzada Zulfiqar Baloch, Khalil Ahmed, Irfan Saeed, Sadqi Baloch, Haji Saeed, Nazeer Baloch, Latiful Malik Baloch, Abdul Bari Badini, Alam Ajeeb and Maulana Rasheed Hamdam.

The Speaker urged the youth and journalist community to follow the footsteps and promote the cause of unbiased and independent media. They said that lala Siddiq was stream of knowledge whose death has brought an irreparable loss to Balochistan. “ Balochistan has forever lost one of its strong voice” the speaker lamented, adding that the service of the deceased journalist will long not be forgotten.
