QUETTA: Speaker Balochistan Assembly Raheela Hameed Durrani said on Wednesday that CPEC is game changer project not for Pakistan but for the entire regions, foreign investment through CPEC will turned Balochistan into modern developed province of the country.

Addressing a ceremony called CPEC Hidden Dimensions in Karachi called by Balochistan Economic Forum Speaker Balochistan Assembly Raheela Hameed Durrani said, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is game changer project which will open myriad job opportunities for the people of Balochistan,

“Balochistan is the gateway of the multi-billion dollars project that will boost Pakistan’s economy on its peak, whenever we utter CPEC, Balochistan comes on our mind because the project reels with instability in Balochistan.” Speaker Balochistan Assembly added.

Talking on the geographical importance of Balochistan Raheela Durrani said, Balochistan is a vast province of Pakistan in terms of land but less in population notwithstanding it effects economically in past, “CPEC will change our Province’s dilapidated picture.”

Stressing upon equal share for local in CPEC Speaker Balochistan Assembly said, local residents of Balochistan should be benefited and promoted in CPEC related projects that will end feelings of deprivation.

She continued, being a custodian of the house, new legislation should be grounded to address all stakeholders’ grievances.

“Government of Balochistan is taking all possible measure to pave ways for China Pakistan Economic Corridor and we will continue our efforts to benefit people of Balochistan from fruits of CPEC.” Raheela Hameed assured and invited Chinese Council General to visit Balochistan.
