QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said that the first right over the resources of Balochistan is of its own people and not a single project against its interests will be accepted.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Petroleum Limited under the leadership of MD PPL Syed Wamik Bukhari here on Friday.

Chief Minister said that Balochistan is a rich land in terms of natural resources but backward as compared to other provinces. Adding that “Backwardness of the rich land is due to not utilizing the resources properly”

He emphasized on the fact that by utilization of the resources, poverty can be eliminated and not only Balochistan but whole Pakistan can progress.

“we will raise our voice in every platform because Balochistan is my own beloved land” Cm said and added that Government is taking measures to deal the issues which different companies are facing while working here.

Provincial Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, Chief Secretary Balochistan Aurangzaib Haq and others were also present at the meeting.
