QUETTA: As many as three passengers were died and three others injured in road accident at main RCD highway near Liyari outskirt area of district Lasbela here on Saturday.

The Balochistan Levies officials said, the sad incident occurred on RCD highway, when passenger car and truck collided with each other, as a result three persons were left their lives on the spot and three others including truck driver were sustained serious injuries.

After the incident Balochistan Levies and rescue workers reached to site and shifted dead bodies and injured to District Headquarters Hospital Uthal for treatment.

According to hospital sources, the injured were referred to Karachi after initial treatment.

They all deceased were belonged to Christian community and residence of Karachi, while injured were residents of district Lesbela. The Levies has lodged the case and interrogation is underway.
