TURBAT: The 1^st anniversary of setting up ofGwadar Campus of Turbat University in Gwadar was celebrated in its Seminar Hall. The Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The ceremony was also attended by Director QEC Prof Dr Gul Hassan, HEC’s DyDirector for Planning and Development Mr. AsimKhanzada, Director Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed, Faculty members, representatives of Consulting Firm for the establishment of University of Gwadar and a large number of students.

Speaking on the occasion the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir said the celebration of this anniversarywas a significant occasion for the people of Gwadar.

He congratulated students, faculty and people of Gwadar for celebrations and successful completion of one yearof Gwadar Campus. He said “with the help of HEC, Governor Balochistan, federal and provincial government and other stakeholders we just had started one of the most noteworthy task by setting up a sub campus of Turbat University in Gwadar in same day just one year ago and laid down the foundation of the educational future of the people of Gwadar and the region.

Today it is the celebration of our commitment and passions for the promotion of higher education in this part of country. Vice chancellor urged that it was the high time for the people of Gwadar to take advantage of such opportunities of higher learning at their doorsteps.  He lauded the unparalleled efforts put in by the director campus and his energeticteaching staff and dedicated students for development of campus which will be converted into a full-fledged University of Gwadar very soon.
