QUETTA: The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have strongly criticized the federal and provincial governments for their failure to resolve the problems being faced by the people of Balochistan.

QUETTA: The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have strongly criticized the federal and provincial governments for their failure to resolve the problems being faced by the people of Balochistan.

The party’s provincial leader Qasim Sori, District President PTI Quetta Noor-ud-Din Kakar, Lala Sultan and Sardar Khadim Hussain Wardag while speaking to the party workers and supporters after marching on different roads and streets of the provincial capital, they said that the people of Quetta were facing load-shedding, shortage of drinking water, low gas pressure and other problems.

The workers and supporters of PTI took out a protest rally carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the government. They chanted slogans against the government. They later gathered in front of Press club.

The PTI leaders negated the claim of ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that due to government efforts load-shedding was over in the country as power plants were producing electricity more than country’s demand and said that even Quetta city was facing six to eight hours load shedding while interiors of Balochistan was still inthe darkness as the Qesco supplying electricity just four to six hours.

They said that low gas pressure was also adding the difficulties of the people of Quetta and other districts as SSGC has started unannounced gas load-shedding soon after staring of winter season. They said that the provincial government also failed to resolved water shortage a problem that was facing the people in entire Quetta city and cantonment areas.

PTI leaders said that provincial government was failed to resolve these problems while the Municipal Corporation despite spending several billion rupees funds could not clean up Quetta as it was looking the dump of garbage.

They demanded investigation against the concerned officials of the corporation and the government who were involved in loot and plundering of funds instate of providing basic amenities to the people.
