QUETTA: Nimaz-e-Janaza took place in the Police Line on Thursday for the martyred acting SP Investigation City Muhammad Ilya and his family and lawyers boycotted court proceedings against the massacre.

Funeral offered to the slain SP Investigation Muhammad Ilyas, wife Raziya, Son Muhammad Adil and grandson Abdul Wahab in the Police Line Quetta.

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, CM Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Military and Civil Officers attended the funeral prayers and paid tribute to the martyred SP and his family.

“We are determine to purge the menace of terrorism, we are standing with the bereaved family.” Governor and CM said in a joint statement and added the perpetrators killed Muhammad Ilyas and his family would be brought to Justice.

The acting SP Investigation City Muhammad Ilyas his wife, son and grandson were martyred on Wednesday night by armed men in Nawa Killi while they are passing the area in their private vehicle.

Meanwhile First Information Report (FIR) of the murder of SP and his family has registered against unknown persons in the Zarghoonabad Police Station on behalf of the SHO.

The lawyers’ community boycotted all lower and upper court’s proceedings in Quetta against the murder of Advocate Adil son of slain SP on Thursday.

Balochistan Bar Association, High Court Bar Association and other lawyers’ gave the boycott call on Wednesday night, they didn’t appear before the courts and boycotted all proceedings.
