QUETTA: Provincial Chief Minister, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, has said that he was servant of the people and he had never considered himself the ruler or Chief Minister in its strict sense.

QUETTA:  Provincial Chief Minister, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, has said that he was servant of the people and he had never considered himself the ruler or Chief Minister in its strict sense.

Talking to a delegation of the Tarsani section of Zehri Tribe, the Chief Minister said he is a humble man and serving the people with dedication. ‘Development and security of the people is his prime responsibility as the Chief Minister,’ he told his visitors.

At the same time, the people of Balochistan also trust their Government and backing the Government, he added. He said he will never betray the trust of the people. The tribal delegates expressed their full confidence and trust in his leadership.

The Chief Minister said that he is a progressive man and devoted his energies to serve the people and develop the society. He said he wanted to develop all the regions of Balochistan without any discrimination and development is his top priority.

He informed the visitors that his Government had created 25,000 jobs in the Government sector which will be filled on merit basis. It will help combat unemployment beating back poverty and backwardness.

Nawab Zehri said that the resources belonged to the broad masses and not the monopoly of a particular family or section of the people. He was of the opinion that backwardness was linked with waste national wealth or misusing it to a gross level that retarded the economic growth.

The Chief Minister said that he had associated the people in decision-making in development and also in good governance only to create a deep sense of participation and ownership of national wealth and resources.

Nawab Zehri said that the Government can build dams, motorways, educational institutions and hospitals with the judicious use of public money. He advised the people to participate in the process of development and supervise the whole process for the benefit of the people.

He said that he had established a complaint Cell at the CM Secretariat and the people can lodge their complaints and grievances to the Cell for early redressal.
