QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said provincial government is taking concrete steps improving education and health sectors. The budget of both sectors had been doubled and the Government step is yielding positive results.

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said provincial government is taking concrete steps improving education and health sectors. The budget of both sectors had been doubled and the Government step is yielding positive results.

“Government values the services of Armed Forces of Pakistan for betterment of education and health sectors. Provincial government would extend cooperation towards Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for increasing literacy rate and projects providing better education to children of the province,” he added.

Chief Minister Balochistan expressed these views with Base Commander, Smungali Airbase Air Commodore Muhammad Nadeem Sabir who called on him here on Monday.

Lauding the development of social sector and restoration of beautification of Quetta, Base Commander Smungali Airbase termed vision of Chief Minister and tangible steps as commendable.

He said that beautification of Smungali Airbase is also being made alike beautification projects of Airport Road. He invited Chief Minister Balochistan as a Chief Guest at Air Show that would be held on 20th next month with collaboration of China Air Force and PAF that is aimed at to highlight cooperation of both countries in CPEC and to provide an opportunity to the people of Balochistan to watch demonstration of fighter jets.

Accepting the invitation, Chief Minister expressed happiness over organizing Air Show and assured that he along with his cabinet would surely attend the Air Show.

Informing chief Minister about opportunities of employment for locals in PAF, he said that a large number of local youth is serving in various sectors in Smungali Airbase whom performance is admirable.

Chief Minister thanked PAF for providing employment opportunities to local youth and expressed hope that it would further widen opportunities for locals in this connection.

Meanwhile, Base Commander Smungli presented souvenir to Chief Minister Balochistan while Chief Minister also handed over a memorial shield to Base Commander.
