QUETTA: The Balochistan Chief Secretary, Aurangzeb Haq, has said that with fully implementation on Gwadar Master Plan, the Gwadar port city will emerge as world’s most modern city.

QUETTA: The Balochistan Chief Secretary, Aurangzeb Haq, has said that with fully implementation on Gwadar Master Plan, the Gwadar port city will emerge as world’s most modern city.

Presiding over a high level meeting in the port city of Gwadar, he said that efforts were underway to implement on the Gwadar Smart Port city plan.

The meeting discussed pace of work on ongoing development projects and Gwadar Master Plan. The up gradation of Gwadar Master Plan and different projects of Smart city were also come under discussion. Various proposals and recommendations were suggested regarding Gwadar Master Plan.

Proposals submitted by local residents of Gwadar about the Smart City were reviewed by the participants. The meeting observed that the new ways of development will be opened for the entire region after completing of Gwadar port and China Pakistan Economic Corridor project.

The Chairman Gwadar Port Authority informed the meeting that with constructing of highways and lying of Railway Tracks under CPEC, the modern road and rail traveling facilities would be promoted not only in Balochistan, but in entire country.

Additional Chief Secretary Qamar Masood, CCC FHD’s Mr. Leu, Chairman Gwadar Port Authority, Dostain Khan Jamaldini, Director General Gwadar Development Authority, Dr. Sajjad Baloch, Commissioner Makran Division, Bashir Ahmed Bangulzai, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Naeem Bazai and senior  civil and military officials also attended the meeting.
