The rulers had realized lately that our house is not in order when security situation in and around Pakistan pose a serious threat to our sovereignty and integrity. The situation had taken an ugly turn when the United States came out openly in support of India and also invited India to play a role in securing Afghanistan.

It means Pakistan will be facing a coalition of US, India and Afghanistan in case of an ugly development. For the past many decades, Pakistani rulers were found more interested in minting billions, retaining and misusing the State power and suppressing the democratic will of the people.

It is true since Malik Ghulam Mohammad had grabbed all powers as Governor-General and imposed his autocratic rule. He was followed by more corrupt rulers including Sikandar Mirza, Field Marshal Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan, General Ziaul Haq and General Pervez Musharraf.

The rule by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and Mian Nawaz Sharif was not ideal either comparing with the military dictators. Corrupt functionaries ruled the country. Nawaz Sharif was found to be worst ruler in the entire history of Pakistan who had developed a lust for money giving no importance to politics, political leaders, including his own followers.

He was a trader and gave more importance to business venture, industrial development of his family than politics and well being of the broad masses in Pakistan. Politics and economy is in complete shambles, law and order is worst as life and property of the people are not safe.

Corruption is rampant and the disadvantaged province of Balochistan was discriminated by all means denying funds, patronizing corrupt and dishonest in all spheres of human activities, jobs are publicly sold or denied to the rightful people by misusing official powers. The unemployment is at its peak and having no parallel in the political history of this Province.

More than two million youth are jobless amid no plan for industrial development or exploiting the mineral wealth and fisheries in development of Balochistan. About a year ago, the Government announced 35,000 jobs for the jobless youth. To this date, the Government had failed to make recruitment filling the 35,000 vacant Government jobs.

Why it was stopped? Who had stopped it? No one knows it for the top politicians coming out with the fact. The law and order situation is not good and to the satisfaction of the people as people are gunned down publicly and the killers are scot-free to this date. The life and property of the common people is not safe as the terrorists operate at will killing people with impunity.

There were massacres at the Civil Hospital of lawyers, police trainees at the Police Training College, Shah Noorani, of JUI people near Mastung and in all cases; the terrorists are scot-free and even not tracked down to this date. In all the four cases of terrorism, the victims were not in conflict with any section of our society. They were all innocent people targeted and killed.

NAB is taking action against the people whom they ‘love’ and refused to take action against those it ‘dislikes’. Two desalination plants were officially established in Gwadar in recent past. Two former provincial ministers holding the posts of BDA and Industries were responsible for establishing the plants.

Even after a decade, the plants are not functioning and billions of rupees of the people had been embezzled and Gwadar is still facing the water shortage. Since both the former ministers are not in the bad book of the State functionaries thus they are spared from corruption charges. Around Rs 540 million were spent on Ankara Kaur Dam.

The fund was provided by the Asian Development Bank and all the public money had gone waste and the dam virtually collapsed suspending water supply to Gwadar. The Government made no effort to repair and rebuild the dam merely by de-silting the water storage area to reclaim the dam partly, if not completely.

Thus there is complete disorder in all sectors and all parts of Pakistan making it impossible to keep the house in order as suggested recently by Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan, once a very powerful cabinet minister in all the three Governments of Nawaz Sharif.
