QUETTA: Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri vowed to retain stable order in all parts of province ensuring the security of life and property of the common people.

QUETTA: Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri vowed to retain stable order in all parts of province ensuring the security of life and property of the common people.

Presiding over a high level meeting on law and order, he said that the law enforcing agencies would continue the action against anti-social elements without any discrimination.

The meeting reviewed the law and order situation in the provincial capital Quetta and other parts of Balochistan and the overall situation was found satisfactory.

The meeting was formally briefed in depth on the incident of Kuchlak where four persons were gunned down and two others injured by a gang of armed terrorists. After reviewing the situation, a number of decisions were taken to ensure a stable and reliable law and order protecting the life and property of the people. The Chief Minister was also informed about the progress made in investigation in killing four persons in Kuchlak area of Quetta the other day.

The Chief Minister instructed all concerned to implement all the orders further improving the law and order situation in general. He said that it was the primary responsibility of his Government to ensure security of the people and fight out terrorism in any form. “ The Government will use its full might in crushing the terrorists,” Nawab Zehri told the participants of the meeting. He praised the sacrifices of the law enforcers in defending the life and property of the people and fighting the terrorists.

Nawab Zehri informed the participants of the meeting that the Police and Levies personnel are being given training to combat terror and they are also being provided modern weapons and equipment to fight the war against terror in a better way.

The meeting was attended by Minister Rahim Ziaratwal, Chief Secretary, Secretary, Home, Additional IGP Balochistan, DIG Special Branch, DIG Operations and the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta besides other officials.
